The reality of business education today is that most faculty are facing the necessity to teach courses online. Even before the recent pandemic forced universities around the globe to move from face-to-face education to online delivery, many business schools were already feeling pressure to offer more online courses. Thus, instructors need to be familiar with the tools and techniques available for online education.

From this session, participants will gain further understanding of the key ingredients for an effective and engaging online course. Dr. Garcia will share tools and tips including:

  • A strategy to overcome common challenges of e-Learning, addressing the specific issue of low student interaction which can lead to a feeling of isolation and a perception of stale and boring content and materials.
  • An overview of the Zoom Web conferencing tool which can be used to stimulate engagement and interaction among online students.
  • A proven set of engaging and stimulating teaching techniques which have resulted in high levels of engagement among scores of online students.

This webinar will equip International Business Instructors for a more effective and enjoyable online teaching experience which will in turn benefit students as more faculty utilize engaging and stimulating teaching techniques like these in their online courses.
