Meta-analysis is a systematic and quantitative review technique that help a field to take stock of knowledge by combining findings across studies, comparing study findings, generating and testing theoretical propositions. This webinar focuses on the significance of meta-analytic methods in international business research and provide guidelines for researchers who would like to employ meta-analytic approaches to further enhance knowledge development and dissemination in our field.

About the Speaker
Dr. Ahmet H. Kirca
Associate Professor of International Business and Marketing
Broad College of Business, Michigan State University
Professor Kirca received his Ph.D. in International Business from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. Dr. Kirca currently serves as Interim Co-Director of International Business Center and CIBER, as well as Director of the Doctoral Program in the Department of Marketing at MSU.
His research focuses on IB and marketing strategy with a special emphasis on applied meta-analysis, firm internationalization, innovation and organizational culture. He has several articles in top academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Retailing, International Journal of Research in Marketing and Journal of World Business, among others. Kirca teaches undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. level courses.
Kirca had extensive industry experience in textile and tourism industries in Turkey and fluently speaks English, French, and Italian languages with working knowledge of Spanish and Japanese.
