Mrs. Tripp serves as the Managing Director of the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), a Title VI center in Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. She manages operations of the Center, leads the planning and execution of the Center’s signature activities, and serves as liaison to the Center’s Advisory Council and other key stakeholders including the Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) Consortium and the U.S. Department of Education. Hannah is committed to bringing an organized, engaging approach to CIBER’s operations which promotes GSU CIBER’s mission to serve and continuously advance the nation’s business leadership and globally competitive economy.
Hannah earned her B.S. in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama (2010) and M.B.A. from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2018). She currently holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and brings extensive professional experience with nonprofit resource centers and federal award administration. As a former Certified Family Life Educator, Hannah served families in West Alabama in her role as a Family Support Specialist with Tuscaloosa’s One Place. She has also previously served as a Contracting Specialist in Georgia Tech’s Office of Sponsored Programs where she supported the institute’s research faculty as well as multiple Government agencies and other research contractors, both domestically and internationally. Other projects she has consulted on include Habitat for Humanity International’s strategy implementation in Indonesia and fundraising for TRENDS Global’s sustainable farming technologies program in Ghana.
Connecting with people and resources for the purpose of working toward a greater good has been a life-long passion of Hannah’s. As an active member of the Junior League of Atlanta, she is committed to serving the local community. She is thrilled to now be working alongside other creative, enthusiastic, and upbeat self-starters within the CIBER network to make a positive impact within our global community.
