Jamaica Tagorda-Villegas’ experiences include a wealth of knowledge about the intricacies of delivering high-level customer service, for which she was awarded employee of the year. She also has in-depth knowledge of Tagalog and American Sign Language and was recognized as UNESCO Artist for Peace in 2003. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication arts from the University of the East in the Philippines. Her passion for serving others is evident in her role as an administrative coordinator for the Institute of International Business. She’s thrilled to be part of the lives of our future leaders that can create great opportunities in our ever-changing global marketplace.
She would like to pursue her master’s degree in film to produce a documentary about HIV/AIDS education for the Filipino community in the Philippines, and impact the lives of the people that are being oppressed because of their current economic situation. Everywhere she goes and in every goal she sets her mind to, Jamaica brings her heart with her and she always believes in putting her best foot forward and making a contribution to the community.
